I was born in İzmir / Bergama at 1976. I am a graduate of History at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Before, I graduated from Bergama High School and dropped out Gazi University French Philology. I have a master’s degree at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Institute of Science and Technology faculty, Informatics- Computer Aided Design&Arts departments.
Between 1995 and 2015, I worked as a software developer, designer and manager at companies such as Doğan Holding, iNNoVA Bilişim Çözümleri and BilgeAdam. Between 2000 and 2010, I created a community in Istanbul that brings together more than 15.000 designers, software developers and technology enthusiasts and organized more than 30 events. After then I started a company and unfortunately screwed it up.
Since 2015, I have dedicated my life to reading, writing and finding solutions to social problems, bringing together people who are thinking about science, technology and design. Now I am trying to spread Open Innovation and “We Effect” approach in Turkey for social development.
I am one of the founders of the Open Innovation Association, which came together around the motto “We Are Smarter Than Me”, and one of the organizers of HacknBreak: Open Innovation Camp dedicated to a short technology break for a better future; and one of the volunteers of OpenCampus which is open for every creative organizations and for all wants to teach, to learn, to produce and to share together.
